★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Majestic Views of Legend are Witnessed Here !!!!! The proverbial cherry on top of Mystras, the mighty ruins of an ancient castle overlooking the very heavens themselves. It's worth every effort to get here and then some... Enjoy :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, what a view!
Get you hiking shoes on and bring a bottle of water.
This is a spectacular place with an amazing view.
The ticket price is fairly high at 12€ per person, however it is a Unesco world heritage site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Insanely large place with gorgeous views, it is a bit maze like though, and you better wear good shoes and are in good shape.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice walk up the hill (not a short one). Amazing how big it was. A must see. Beautiful views. 12€ entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting site!
We lived one week in Mystras and spent half of a day walking around in this enormous old city.
The 12 euro entrance price is absolutely worth it!
There is so much to discover.
An absolute highlight is the top of the mountain and the old castle.
You have a great view into the mountains and to the direction of Sparta.
One hint: wear sneaker or shoes you can walk with very good. The paths are not easy to walk and you will need stability.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The site is very well preserved, and ongoing restorations are unique to look at, they
Could clear a lot of stone rubble from the main paths, which meander all through the ancient city and its buildings…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best preserved archeological sites. Mystras the city where last Byzantine emperor was moved after the fall of Konstantinopolis. In between the city ruins and some very well preserved churches and the palace, visitors still can feel the historical vibes of this heritage

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Glorious Mystras - a beautiful and atmospheric place. Best to park at the Fortress Gate and scramble up to the citadel first. Then you can wander down to all the best sites. Parking is much easier up here too. Be warned - no toilets at the upper entrance though. You can easily spend half a day here. 12 euros entry - very good value - and they will want to see your vaccine passport.
