This is worth a visit. Plan to spend 2 hours here. The cost is 4.5Euro, and they close early in the winter.

Another archeological site worth visiting. EU8 if you want to go inside the museum and the site. Friendly folks on the adjoining street with shops and drink/bar and restaurants. Cool looking town dog too with way too much hair in the heat.

It is worth the experience. It is small, but an important part of history and well worth a visit. There is a small village at the edge of the site with plenty of restaurant options. Get there early before the cruise ships and tourist toura get their. We arrived at 9:30 AM and had the place to ourselves.

Beautiful location with a very strong history. This is the place that the apostle Paul sent two famous letters, Part of one is inscribed in the stone.

Excellent museum and site. It is particularly of interest to students of the Book of Acts and the letters of Paul since he spent much time starting and building a congregation here. Interesting aspects of burial customs on display and explained.

The ruins are beautiful and there is a peaceful atmosphere. However the customer service is horrible. I wanted to take a picture of some friends standing infront of something. But this woman had to burst my eardrums with her whistle, saying that this is not allowed. While she could have just gone to me explaining the situation. So beware of grumpy women with whistles behind you.

Such an amazing place to visit. Definitely worth a visit. A tour is beneficial as they have lots of history to share. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the customer service is horrible. They were extremely rude to us and I think us being from the US didn't help.
