★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, unfortunately it is not completed. You can see one room with 10big posters, which will explain you the history of Agios Nikolaos and life in this rural area. Free entrance.
It will be beneficial to have at least movie with the objects until the complection of the museum.
Or touch screen map as it is in the Heraklion KTEL station.
Lastly, only some of the photos attached to the placd are real. Other pictures are from differeng places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we went, the majority of excebitions were closed, only a small tour of the town's history was open, we went here in the end of April 2018. But it was free, so not completely useless. They have restrooms

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice local exhibition, but very limited. Am given to understand it's very impressive, but currently the vast majority is closed for renovation. The help desk said that it should fully open in summer 2020.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Artefacts from Knossos palace, frescos, treasures, jewellery, beautiful tombs; and a lot of other objects are the oldest of their kind in the world and very well preserved. Also a mode of Knossos palace, good to have been there first.
