★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asteria is the worst place I've been too for food in corfu, I waited 40mins for a chicken souvlaki, only for the chicken to still be undercooked/ Raw.. So they cooked me a another one only for me to wait another 40mins, by this time the people I was with had finished their meals, which they were also disappointed with.. When i got the 2nd Chicken souvlaki it was the driest and most bland kebab i have ever eaten. Severely disappointed in this restaurant they might want to tell the chef how to season his food. I certainly wont ever visit this restaurant again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered burgers which were truly one of the worst. The meat was very salty and strange color, the salads was blend and looked old, only the fries were ok. Also the menu is very unclear - just the name of the dish and no ingridients explained. The only good thing is the place, because it is by the sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view is fantastic. The atmosphere outside with the trees right at the seaside makes it a relaxing, revitalising period of time to be there.
The food is well prepared and of pleasing taste. Portions are small and dishes pricy. Coffee is good.
Initial reception and service not very friendly, but when the regular waitress arrived that was completely changed to a friendly, competent service which makes an eating excursion very pleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone's favourite meal of the holiday, worth the walk from the other end of the strip where our apartments were. The portion sizes are on the small-medium side which meant we had room for dessert which was delicious. I had sofrito which is a Corfu dish of very tender beef in a white garlic sauce. I had it at 3 different restaurants that week and here was my favourite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a good restaurant. We wanted to give it a chance even though the reviews were lower than what we usually go for - bad decision. The mixed meat platter, the fried anchovies (which were really sardines) and the tzaziki and meatballs were low quality and upset our stomachs right after. Too expensive for the low quality on top of it. We had much better food for much cheaper.
