lader type construction. The cinema is known for picking excellent movies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cinema with great variety of movies and a vintage sense. But DANAOS 1 should either be closed or seriously rebuilt. Seats are so close to each other, that even small people can't move their arms.
No cup holders, no room for feet and not proper ventilation. If anyone is sick, it's guaranteed that half the room will become sick too.
Please, remove at least 30% of the seats. It's a pity for such a nice place.

Screen 1 looks ok.
Screen No 2 is very small. Even worse is the fact that there are too many seats for the available space, so when it’s busy it gets too hot as well as humid. Seats are also uncomfortable for taller people. Seats do not provide a cup holder.
Generally avoid Screen 2. Too expensive for what it offers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I come to this cinema the last 40, yes forty, years. It is the first time I faced a kind of ignorance on how to behave if you are the issuing tickets department. I came early, 40 minutes prior to the beginning of the movie, there is no excuse that I was delaying any queue. I was holding a walking stick and asked info about the free seats, but there was an obvious unwillingness for a reply, do not know why. I was given my answers, but it felt like I shouldn't ask. Sorry for the 2 stars, I hope it was only a bad moment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the best equipped cinema bars in Athens, always clean. Due to the selection of less popular movies (I watched a movie that is only played in two theaters in the city), the audience is always silent and respectful, allowing each viewer to enjoy the movie uninterrupted. Its athenian style, combined with quality films make for a uniquely local experience.
