★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ιστορικο μοναστηρι λιγο εξω απο την Σπαρτη, με μεγαλη συνεισφορα στην Επανασταση του 1821. Υπεροχες τοιχογραφιες του 17ου αιωνος στο καθολικο της μονης, κειμηλια και χωροι μεσα απο τους οποιους ο επισκεπτης μπορει να γνωρισει την μοναστικη ζωη καποιων αλλων εποχων. Ενα μοναστηρι οπου οι μοναχοι εφαρμοζουν στην πραξη την ενοτητα ψυχων που χαρακτηριζε και τους τιμωμενους Αγιους Τεσσαρακοντα και που γινονται παραδειγμα φιλοξενιας και προσφορας ανοιγοντας σε καθε πιστο οχι μοναχα τις πορτες του μοναστηριου αλλα και των καρδιων τους.
Historic monastery just outside Sparta, with a great contribution to the Revolution of 1821. Wonderful frescoes of the 17th century in the monastery katholikon, relics and places through which the visitor can get to know the monastic life of some other eras. A monastery where the monks apply in practice the unity of souls that characterized the honored Saints Forty and that become an example of hospitality and offering by opening to every believer not only the doors of the monastery but also their hearts.
