★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad! We went for lunch at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and it took them 1:15 minutes to serve 2 dishes. Obviously they didn't tell us anything during that time, and there weren’t that busy to justify the delay.
The surprise is that when we asked for the bill they charged us 1€ per person for bread, 1,20€ for a 0,5cl bottle of water and 4€ for a plastic bottle of coke!!!!. A disgrace, the most expensive and badly served restaurant on our holiday in all of Greece.
It would have been nice of them to offer bread as a house gift for the waiting time.
I do not recommend it at all, we left very disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The portions were generous but the cooking mediocre. The four of us ordered 4 different meat dishes and the consensus was the same: overcooked, dry and too salty. Based on the other positive reviewers, I will assume George was just having a bad day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate there multiple times during our vacation. George is a gorgeous host, meals are always fresh and prepared with love from his wife in the kitchen.
Communication is easy because George speaks multiple languages and can explain everything, the menu is written in different languages.
They harvest the lemons, eggplants, olives and much more on their own farm, which they later use for the restaurant.
You definitely need to try his special raki creation, which we did not find anywhere else!
Absolute recommendation to take your meal in the best taverna around!
When we come back we definitely will eat there again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One word...WOW! Restaurant George is truly what you would call a hidden gem here on Crete. The food was suberb...all cooked by George's wife. George himself is a real nice guy with a good sence of humor, knows English and even a bid Dutch!
The menu's came in Greek, English, German and Dutch.
If you ever drive by this restaurant don't hesitate. It will be worth your while?
