★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing experience. The food, the location, the waiters, musicians and the most hospitable owner you can find in Athens! The atmosphere here is amazing. Food is excellent, waiters very friendly! Would give 6 stars out of 5 if it was possible. Can't wait to visit taverna Geros Toy Moria next time I'm in Athens :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was great. The vibe was amazing with the Greek dances and music. Since it is the oldest tavern I think it is a must visit.
But the seafood didn’t fulfil my expectations unfortunately. The plate we ordered was already cold when it arrive to the table.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best thing I did in the city, its an amazing lovely experience, the staff are amazing and lovely, I stayed in Athens for two nights and for two nights I’ve been there with my mum. If you want to feel the Greek vibes I will highly recommend it for you, I’m in love with this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoy very much at this Taberna. It was tasty, local food. We just took vegetarian dishes.
The live Greek music added to the good atmosphere.
The price was ok.
It was a cold night, but with the heaters next to us it was warm enough to enjoy the dinner.
I recommend this Taberna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would say this was the highlight of the trip , walking through alleys of old Plaka I found this amazing spot , band plying nice traditional Greek music, tables are aligned the platforms of the stairs , very difficult to find a table as the place is quiet busy , but if you wait a bit you can be lucky and get a table , food was good and service was ok too , ambiance is just amazing more than food or anything else.
Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Talk about authentic Greek food and atmosphere! This was such an incredible hidden gem! You walk up these steps with tables and cushions on the steps with live music and dancing and the most DELICIOUS food. Must visit the Plaka area and eat here. So lively and busy on a Tuesday night!

Food was good and the live music was great. Service was also pretty good.
However, I didn’t feel that were served freshly cooked food as they not hot. Additionally, they were out of stock of two items of the four we wanted to try.
