Ανακαινίστηκε το 1999 και κατέχει ιερά λείψανα των Αγίων Θεοδώρων και του Αγίου Τρύφωνα. Female Monastery just before Meteora, built before 1500 on a narrow rock on four floors. It was renovated in 1999 and holds sacred relics of Saint Theodore and Saint Tryphon.

Situé à l'écart des autres, ce monastère tenu par des sœurs n'en est pas moins intéressant. Surplombant la vallée, elle offre une vue dégagée sur les environs assez différente de celle que vous trouverez plus loin. Ce monastère mérite un temps de visite et de recueillement. Arriving in the direction of Kalambaka it is the first monastery that appears on the road. Located away from others, this monastery run by sisters is no less interesting. U	Udo Peters on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Kloster ist unbedingt eine Besuch wert. Die Nonnen sind sehr gastfreundlich und freuen sich über Besuch, da sie etwas abgelegen sind. Eine von den Nonnen spricht englisch und hat uns herumgeführt und alles erklärt. Es war ein besonderes Erlebnis für uns. Das große Tor an der Einfahrt stand nur einen Spalt offen - einfach reingehen und warten ;-). (Natürlich eine Spende da lassen oder in dem kleinen Klosterladen eine Salbe kaufen:-)) The monastery is definitely worth a visit. The nuns are very hospitable and are happy to have visitors because they are a bit remote. One of the nuns speaks English and showed us around and explained everything. It was a special experience for us. The big gate at the entrance was only a crack - just go in and wait ;-). (Of course leave a donation or buy an ointment in the small monastery shop :-))

T	Teo P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ανηρτησα και 2 επιμαχες φωτογραφιες που προκαλεσαν την απροσδοκητο θυμο της μοναχης που ΤΟΛΜΗΣΑ να φωτογραφισω τον προαυλιο χωρο του μοναστηριου, χωρις την αδεια της. Ας τα παρουμε ομως απο την αρχη. Τρεις φιλοι παμε για τους Δ' χαιρετισμους. Εντυπωσιαζομαστε απο τον εξωτερικο χωρο και μπαινουμε ενθουσιασμενοι στον προαυλιο χωρο του μοναστηριου. Ενω ηδη ειχε λεωφορειο με προσκυνητες μεσα στην εκκλησια, εντρομη βγαινει η μοναχη απο το de lux εκθετηριο και μας ρωταει -Τί θελετε -Ποιον ρωτησατε και βγαζετε φωτογραφιες -Σας παρακολουθουν καμερες Απαντηση: -Να εκκλησιαστουμε ηρθαμε και -εντυπωσιαστηκαμε απο την αρχιτεκτονικη του μοναστηριου, γι αυτο βγαζουμε φωτογραφιες. Τρωμε την πρωτη ξενερα απο την αγενεια της μοναχης και μπαινουμε στο ναο. Ολοκληρωνεται η λειτουργια και καθως κατεβαινουμε τα σκαλια, αρχιζω και ξαναβγαζω φωτογραφιες το μοναστηρι απο αλλη οπτικη γωνια, μιας και η μοναχη δεν διακρινοταν στο οπτικο μου πεδιο. Πριν κανω τη σκεψη οτι ολα καλα, τσουπ, ξαναβγαινει απο το delux εκθετηριο και με υφος αυστηρης καθηγητριας μου λεει: -δευτερη φορα και συνεχιζεις. Δεν κανω κατι κακο της λεω -Αμα ερθει η αστυνομια, εκει να τα πεις. Απαντω ας ερθει η αστυνομια και πως πρωτη φορα μου συμβαινει να μην επιτρεπονται φωτογραφιες σε μοναστηρι (απαγορευτικες πινακιδες δεν υπηρχαν) και μου απαντα το εξης αμιμητο και με κουφαινει -Εεεε, να πατε σ εκεινα τα μοναστηρια Συμπερασματα 1. Δεν αξιζει επισκεψης 2. Αναπαντεχη κακη συμπεριφορα 3. Καμια αισθηση προσεγγισης, πραοτητας και ηρεμιας 4. Καχυποψια και νευρα 5. Πλουτος, πολυς πλουτος, καινουριες πανακριβες αγιογραφιες, αξεσουαρ ακομη και για το σβησιμο της λαμπαδας, fully equiped 6.
