Ι	Ιωάννης Χρήστου on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η περιοχή αυτή των 955 στρεμμάτων κρίθηκε αναδασωτέα το 1986 από το τότε Υπουργείο Γεωργίας (απόφ. 463 ΦΕΚ 512 τεύχος 4ο 10/6/1986). Από τότε, πολύ πιθανόν, έχει αφεθεί στην τύχη του. Τα δέντρα έχουν πυκνώσει σε τέτοιο βαθμό που κρύβουν το φως στο πάρκο. Για κλαδέματα ούτε λόγος. Οι διαδρομές είναι επικίνδυνες για πεζοπορία και ποδήλατο αφού τα βράχια και οι πέτρες προεξέχουν κάθε τόσο. Φωτισμός δεν υπάρχει ούτε για δείγμα. Το χειρότερο όμως όλων είναι οι αυτοσχέδιες μικρές χωματερές και τα διάσπαρτα σκουπίδια εδώ και εκεί. Δεν υπάρχει έλεγχος και από ότι φαίνεται εδώ κάνει ο καθένας ότι θέλει. Ακόμα και κάποια εγκαταλελειμμένα κτίρια έχουν γίνει αποθήκες σκουπιδιών . Even some abandoned buildings have become garbage dumps.

Αν ψάξετε να βρείτε την απόφαση 463, ΦΕΚ 512, τεύχος Δ, 10/6/1986, στη δεύτερη σελίδα θα βρείτε το τοπογραφικό διάγραμμα του άλσους. Το Άλσος Κεφαλαρίου περιέχει το Βαρβάκειο της Κηφισιάς, το οποίο έμεινε στα μπετά, και για αυτό έχει γράψει η "Μηχανή του Χρόνου" στο άρθρο "Tο Βαρβάκειο της Κηφισιάς που ρημάζει". Αξίζει να το επισκεφτείτε για τα γκραφίτι και για την ωραία θέα από την ταράτσα, αλλά με πολλή προσοχή γιατί είναι επικίνδυνα. Στο κέντρο του πάρκου φυτρώνει ένας εντυπωσιακός αριθμός από φραγκοσυκιές. Ένας μεγάλος αριθμός από χωματόδρομους κάνει την κίνηση στο πάρκο αρκετά εύκολη. Διάσπαρτες μέσα στο δάσος, πινακίδες που αναγράφουν "Χρειάζομαι τη φροντίδα σου. Σ'αγαπω, το Δάσος", οι οποίες τοποθετήθηκαν πιθανότατα από τον σύλλογο Δρυάδες. Μια παλιά ταμπέλα που αναγράφει "Ιδιοκτησία Σοφιανού τηλ. 3643620" έχει σβηστεί με μπογιά, καθώς φυσικά δεν τίθεται θέμα ιδιοκτησίας μέσα στον αναδασωτέο χώρο. Θα δείτε μερικά παλιά σπιτάκια μέσα στο πάρκο, κυρίως εγκαταλειμμένα, όμως υπάρχει και ένα σπίτι που κατοικείται. Επίσης θα συναντήσετε μελίσσια και πεταμένα μπάζα. Για την εγκατάλειψη του πάρκου έχει γράψει το "Πρώτο Θέμα" άρθρο με τίτλο: "Δάσος Κεφαλαρίου: Στο έλεος της εγκατάλειψης και των ναρκομανών", 12/12/2020. Παρά την εγκατάλειψη, το πάρκο είναι όμορφο. Ένα πευκοδάσος που φιλοξενεί χελώνες, πουλιά και άλλα μικρά ζώα. Όταν ανθίζουν οι ανεμώνες γίνεται ακόμα πιο όμορφο. Αν βρίσκεστε σε αυτή τη μεριά της Κηφισιάς, αξίζει να δείτε και το υδραγωγείο στην πλατεία Φλέμινγκ (Ηλέκτρας και Πηλέως). An area that in 1986 was declared reforestable and then abandoned.
