The Skete Nest belongs to the Monastery of St. Paul's Mount Athos. It is 30 minutes away from it and another 30 minutes from Agia Anna's Cloister. In the courtyard of the Kyriakos is the cemetery temple, which is celebrated in the memory of the Saints of All, and a little bit beyond the osteophylaxis in which the bones of the fathers have been kept for more than 400 years. The library of the Kyriakos shelves about 200 manuscripts and about 500 forms. The manuscripts are mainly copies of the last century, with a well-known copywriter the scholar Iacob.

Nea Sketi is a monastery of Mount Athos on the west side of Athos, beneath the mountain and above a rocky shore without a harbor. It belongs to St. Paul's Monastery which is 20 minutes away. In a prominent position of the New Skete, on a rock above the sea the tower of the New Skete rises. It is particularly impressive and it is due to the older name of Skete as Skete of the Tower. Tradition says that it was built on Justinian's, but most likely it was a building from the time of Andronikos I Komnenos around 1150. It is preserved in good condition and is a monument of fortification technique. It is built in the northern part of Skete at an altitude of 80 meters above sea level. It is 20 meters high and its base is 8 by 7.8 meters. It is a four-storey building and on the upper floor is the chapel of Agia Anna. It has a quadruped roof covered with slabs. The tower was recently restored and renovated to serve as a vessel.
