β β β β β Short time parking approx 20 minutes is for free bus prices are reasonable & it's good that it is a central terminal for intercity buses. It could be a bit better organised and cleaner.

β β β β β The timetables aren't updated. I showed up for the 9:45am bus to Sofia this morning and was told it was cancelled and the next one was at midnight. I asked two staff members about alternative options and they just nonchalantly shrugged and said there were no other buses that could get me there so I got stuck waiting here for 15 hrs. Also there are only two outlets in the whole station and they are horribly placed against a wall. Bad service

β β β β β Even if many people in a hurry travel through this place it's cleanliness and professional staff is astonishing.
It reminds me the old tales of busy railway stations of old times where traveling was an adventure and the station itself something to be in awe of.

β β β β β Thereβs a small shop in here that sells savory Greek pies with vegan options! A nice surprise. Called Term1nal maybe? Easy to find amongst shops.
Also I had no problem finding my bus and as I was standing there someone came over to ask if I needed help.

β β β β β It is no more a bus 79 to/from the airport as it says online or even at the airport itself as well. It is bus 01X. The bus from the airport dropped us off at the main bus garage, but when we returned there to board to the airport, as per previous drop off point and another customer info desk in the station telling us it is the same stop, we were told by a driver it wasn't the stop though it is also labelled 01X. He pointed to the main road with no certainty, until an elderly lady stepped in to explain it is next to a pharmacy off the main Monastiriou Street. Absolutely terrible services and literally no customer services seem to exist, even for an important destination such as the airport. No clear signage nor signs. We asked 3 different information desks and all 3 gave us 3 different answers, and one was even irritated we were crosschecking his response vs the previous. For the 2nd largest city in Greece- a country with such an amazing history, this is a very poor showing.
