 The church inside is beautiful and crafted. Only here is really the most beautiful Megapark with the climate created by the sounds of the Philharmonic. Every Easter I want to live it only in Lefkada

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Έδρα του Μητροπολίτη Λευκάδος και Ιθάκης. Βρίσκεται κοντά στο κέντρο της πόλης, πίσω από το νοσοκομείο. Χτίστηκε το 1689, καταστράφηκε πολλές φορές από σεισμούς και πήρε τη σημερινή μορφή του το 1886. Αξίζει να θαυμάσει κανείς το νεοκλασικό τέμπλο του με εικόνες αναγεννησιακής τέχνης των Σταμπόγλη και Γαζή.
Στο Ναό τελούνται οι επίσημες τελετές και δοξολογίες και εδώ ιερουργεί ο Μητροπολίτης στις μεγάλες γιορτές (Χριστούγεννα, Θεοφάνεια, Μ. Πέμπτη – Πάσχα). Ο Ναός πανηγυρίζει στις 25 Μαρτίου.
Headquarters of Metropolitan of Lefkada and Ithaca. It is located near the city center, behind the hospital. It was built in 1689, destroyed many times by earthquakes and took its present form in 1886. Its neoclassical iconostasis with images of Renaissance art by Stambogli and Gazi is worth admiring.
The church hosts formal ceremonies and doctrines, and here the Metropolitan preaches on the great feasts (Christmas, Epiphany, Holy Thursday - Easter). The church celebrates on March 25th.
