★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another fab little taverna at the back of the square in Frez. Run by the lovely Maria and her husband , the food is simple and fresh. You can have barbecue or stifado casserole all of which will be delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maria and her husband are extremely welcoming and nice people. If you want to eat real home-made Crete food in a genuine local environment, then this is the place to go! The food is delicious!

However now that they have moved across the little main square in Fres to bigger premises, things have got even better. They now have a slightly more extensive menu and more indoor seats, but still the same wonderful welcome as before.
