★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Χαρακτηρισμένο ως έργο τέχνης που χρειάζεται ειδική κρατική προστασία, σύμφωνα με το Ν 1469/1950 το κτίριο στην οδό Τζιραίων 6 στην περιοχή Μακρυγιάννη στην Αθήνα, ιδιοκτησίας Θ.Α., Σ.Α. κληρονόμων Χ.Ι. και Ι.Δ., γιατί παρουσιάζει αρχιτεκτονικό και μορφολογικό ενδιαφέρον και αποτελεί ένα αξιόλογο δείγμα της αρχιτεκτονικής των αρχών του 20ου αιώνα και ένα σημαντικό σημείο αναφοράς στον ιστορικό πολεοδομικό ιστό της Αθήνας.
Ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον παρουσιάζει η πρόσοψη του ακινήτου με τις τρεις εισόδους που καθεμιά αντιστοιχεί σε ανεξάρτητη κατοικία. Χαρακτηριστικά μορφολογικά στοιχεία της πρόσοψης είναι οι τετραγωνισμένες μπαλούστρες του στηθαίου του δώματος, τα διακοσμητικά φυτικά θέματα στο διάζωμα κάτω από το γείσο, τα κλασσικής προέλευσης διαφράγματα στις ποδιές των παραθύρων, τα μαρμάρινα φουρούσια και οι περίτεχνες σιδεριές του μπαλκονιού ".
Ήταν το σπίτι του τέως υπουργού Εθνικής οικονομίας Ιωάννου Θ. Αρβανίτη.
Σε τμήμα του διαμένει ακόμα η εγγονή του.
 Characterized as a work of art that needs special state protection, according to Law 1469/1950 the building at 6 Tziraion Street in the area of Makrigianni in Athens, owned by THA, SA κληρονόμων Χ.Ι. and I.D., because it is of architectural and morphological interest and is a remarkable example of the architecture of the early 20th century and an important reference point in the historical urban fabric of Athens.
Of particular interest is the facade of the property with the three entrances that each correspond to an independent residence. Characteristic morphological elements of the facade are the square balusters of the roof parapet, the decorative plant motifs in the molding under the cornice, the classical origin partitions in the window aprons, the marble friezes and the intricate irons of the balcony.
It was the house of the former Minister of National Economy Ioannos Th. Arvanitis.
His granddaughter still lives in part of it.
