★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything went according to the plan: got the car for a very competitive price, the car was nice, and Mary is a very nice and flexible person. I recommend it to everyone wishing to drive around Crete. I will definitely book a car there next time in Crete.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service. The first red flag was when Mary ignored me for 15 minutes because she was busy arguing with another customer about the car they had received. Second flag was when she got annoyed that I was taking photos of all the damage and rust on the car. Third flag was the odometer saying 530km (obviously clocked). Fourth flag was when the card machine mysteriously didn't work after stating a preference for cash. The final blow was when the gear stick came off in my hand.
My recommendation would be that you go anywhere other than here to get a car. The only reason this gets one star is because 0 stars isn't allowed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and fast service, as well as kind and helpful attitude from Mary. She responded very fast to our messages, which we appreciated. The reason why I give 4 instead of 5 is because the car we got had a few issues, such as a faulty AC, which could not function after 30mins on the road (and Crete gets boiling hot in July!). Nevertheless, compared to other rental agencies, the price-service ration is very good and I recommend the company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The car was perfect, Mary was so communicative and helpful. We came around midnight, because our flight was postponed - and this was not the problem for them at all! We met at the airport entrance so there was not a chance for us to get lost. Everything went smoothly! My sincere recommendation ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked 2 vehicles a week in advance and was cancelled on via email when on the aircraft en route. The booking agent “Rentalcars.com” offered to change us to another company which was 50% more money however when we arrived at this second desk we were told there was a further price increase of 30% and a 4 hour wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Car was in a best possible shape, clean, shiny and fully operational with additional phone equipment. But it is not the most important part of using this specific car rental service. The owner of this place - Mary, who is an extraordinary very helpful lady. Mary showed me the best places to see, park and eat in the cities which I planned to visit. Only because of this, I saved a lot of money, time and effort. I truly appreciate such approach. If I will come back to Kato Gouves, I will contact Mary first in order to get a car. Cheers!
