★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good traditional greek food and self made delicious ice cream... The owner Katharina and her son Minaos are very friendly and very obligning... We ask for a plate with a variation of traditional stuff, we could choose what we want and got a real delicious plate... Highly recommended to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is right in front of Kournas Lake and has an excellent view! It's a great place to have a drink by the lake. Don't miss their Sfakian pie filled with local cheeses and served with lots of honey! The store offers a zone with a trampoline for kids to play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered chicken giros and instead received a chicken fillet cut into pieces. The portion was big and the taste okay, but it was not what we ordered.
The taverna has a very nice view over the lake and the staff is welcoming. However our food took around 40 min to arrive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice restaurant with a terrace towards the lake. We ordered a Cretan salad and the Lamb chops for two people and was enough. Lamb chops were really nice and crunchy while the salad was simple yet great.
Staff was kind and spoke English fluently so if you have questions they should be able to help.
I would come back if I return to the lake.
