★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3,8 χιλιομετρα από τον κεντρικό δρόμο Βόλου αργαλαστης θα βρείτε έναν χωμάτινο δρόμο σχετικά σε καλή κατάσταση(τον έκανα με ένα daihatsu sirion)ο οποίος είναι μέσα στα πεύκα ,μετά απο 15 λεπτά θα βρέθητε στο φράγμα,ένα φραγμα μέσα στα πεύκα το οποίο όμως δυστυχώς έχει αφεθεί στην τύχη του!
3.8 km from the main road of Volos argalastis you will find a dirt road in relatively good condition (I did it with a daihatsu sirion) which is in the pine trees, after 15 minutes you will find yourself in the dam, a dam in the pine trees which but unfortunately it has been left to its fate!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Υπέροχο μέρος το σημείο όπου βρίσκεται το φράγμα μέσα στη φύση με θέα και στο Παγασητικό. Έστω για μια φορά αξίζει να το επισκεφθείς. Δεν υπάρχουν μαγαζιά γύρω από το φράγμα.
Wonderful place where the dam is located in nature overlooking the Pagasitikos. At least for once it is worth visiting. There are no shops around the dam.

If you are a fan of adventure and you must have 4x4 then the place is a little paradise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Panagiotiko Dam was constructed to collect water in a reservoir to be distributed to the southern areas of Pelion. The wetland formed hosts plenty of plants and animals. Very nice promenade!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Panagiotiko Dam is located 25 km southeast to Volos on the path of Platanorema stream.
The dam was completed at 2003, and it was made for the purpose of water supply for the villages of South Pelion. Its size is 132 square kilometer, its height is 38 m and its length is 150 m.
Unfortunately, the dam is in danger due to severe infrastructure problems (water leaks, etc.) as well as serious safety problems, and the local authority has been trying to raise government budgets to address the issue, so far without success.
