The view of the castle was really worth it. We had great time and made great pictures before arriving there.

Great beach with views of Spinalonga. Did some very good snorkeling there. I recommend taking of advantage of the (free) Isla beach bar sunbeds and enjoy a drink along with the view. Staff are nice and prices are fair!

Public free parking seconds before the hit the main street with plenty of space otherwise the parking lots seem to be owned by the restaurants and they insist you eat there! The place is tiny, a small port and a handful of restaurants ALL WHOM, INSIST YOU EAT HERE, COME LOOK AT OUR FISH! COME COME they are so persistent its beyond annoying its harassment and if you don't believe me have yourself a walk up the street only to find you have to turn around and go through it all over a second time. We did eat at one restaurant as we had returned that evening, I have to say it was average and very expensive our most expensive meal...to note most of our meals had been around the eighty/ninety euros. The whole experience was badly tainted by the harassing. Never again and I most definitely wouldn't recommend.

THE BEST place to catch a boat ride to the island of Spinalonga.

Very buitifull place, but if you want to go by boat to the island Spinalongo, keep in mind, that 1 hour to visit this place, boat's driver remind before you leave the boat, can transform to 1 hour 40 minutes under agressive sun of waiting.

A must place to visit. Crystal clear waters, very kind people, beautiful traditional buildings and you can also take the boat and visit the historical island of Spinalonga. Moreover, there are many tavernas with fresh fish and Mediterranean food !

A warm welcome received here today and a super latte! Clean tidy streets and quaint shops with no pressure to buy. Very Greek feel to the place and a must see. Friendly people. Beautiful restaurants with a stunning sea and island view. Such a beautiful place. A little piece of Crete heaven
