★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Όμορφο μέρος για χαλάρωση και ρακές κάτω από τον γηραιό πλάτανο, το σημείο αναφοράς του χωριού,. Ό,τι δοκιμάσαμε (κυρίως ψητά) ήταν σωστά ψημένο και σε πλούσια ποσότητα. Μείναμε ικανοποιημένοι στα σημαντικότερα σημεία και το συνιστώ.
Beautiful place for relaxation and rakes under the old plane tree, the reference point of the village. Everything we tried (mainly grilled) was properly cooked and in rich quantity. We were satisfied with the most important points and I recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Βρεθήκαμε στον Άνω Βιάννο μετά από το καλοκαιρινό μας μπάνιο στην Ιεράπετρα. Κάτσαμε στον πλάτανο μετά από πρόταση φίλων μας. Το τοπίο πολυ όμορφο δίπλα από την προτομή του Ιωάννη Κονδυλάκη και ο μεγάλος πλάτανος δίνει τη δροσιά που χρειάζεται ωστε να απολαύσεις τη στιγμή! Ο Μιχάλης και η οικογένειά του μας περιποίηθηκαν με τον καλύτερο δυνατό τρόπο! Τα φαγητά τους εξαιρετικά πολύ ιδιαίτερες γεύσεις και τα γλυκά τους επίσης. Δοκιμάστε οπωσδήποτε γιαούρτι με γλυκό του κουταλιού, ντολμαδάκια με ξύγαλο!! Η ρακή του εξαιρετική! Οι τιμές είναι αρκετά προσιτές! Η φιλοξενία είναι το στοιχείο τους.. Αξίζει να τον επισκεφθείτε!!
We were in Ano Viannos after our summer swim in Ierapetra. We sat on the plane tree at the suggestion of our friends. The landscape is very beautiful next to the bust of Ioannis Kondylakis and the big plane tree gives the coolness you need to enjoy the moment! Michalis and his family treated us in the best possible way! Their food is extremely special flavors and their sweets as well. Be sure to try yogurt with a dessert of the spoon, dolmadas with wood !! Its raki is excellent! The prices are quite affordable! Hospitality is their element .. It is worth visiting !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Βρεθήκαμε στην άνω Βιάννο για να αποτίσουμε φόρο τιμής στο δεύτερο μεγαλύτερο ολοκαύτωμα της χώρας μας στον 2ο παγκόσμιο πόλεμο, πίνοντας τον καφέ ακριβώς κάτω από την σκιά του πλατανου που έχει ζωή περίπου 1200 χρόνια και χαζεύοντας το λαογραφικό μουσείο ακριβώς δίπλα ταξιδέψαμε σε άλλες εποχές, πιο δύσκολες ίσως αλλά και πιο ρομαντικές για κάποιους από εμάς.
We were in upper Viannos to pay tribute to our country's second largest holocaust in World War II, drinking coffee just under the shade of a plane tree that is about 1200 years old and wandering the folklore museum right next door we traveled to other times, more difficult perhaps but also more romantic for some of us.
