★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο ιερός Ναός Αγίου Ιωάννου ή Τιμίου Προδρόμου στο Άργος, είναι τρίκλιτος σταυροειδής εγγεγραμμένος με τρούλο. Κτίστηκε μετά το 1822 και περατώθηκε το 1829. Ο προηγούμενος ναός ήταν ημιυπόγειος και ο εισερχόμενος κατέβαινε 6-7 σκαλιά. Τους έκτιζαν έτσι, για να μην μπαίνουν έφιπποι οι Τούρκοι και τους βεβηλώνουν. Στον παλιό ναό έγινε η δοξολογία και ορκίστηκαν οι πληρεξούσιοι της πρώτης Εθνοσυνέλευσης το Δεκέμβριο 1821.
The Holy Church of Agios Ioannis or Timios Prodromos in Argos, is a three-aisled cruciform inscribed with a dome. It was built after 1822 and completed in 1829. The previous church was semi-basement and the entrance was 6-7 steps down. They built them in this way, so that the Turks would not enter on horseback and desecrate them. The doxology took place in the old church and the proxies of the first National Assembly were sworn in in December 1821.
