★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This beautiful family run restaurant is an absolute must if you are in the area. Set in the pretty square of the old town, it’s just a short taxi ride up the hills.
The food was delicious and fresh, and every single dish was gorgeous. The setting is perfect, and the building is beautiful and so filled with character.
The staff were really fun and Marina, whose family own the restaurant, is so friendly and accommodating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Harakas was great! This family-ran taverna makes you feel very welcomed. Service is very friendly, attentive and accommodating- for kids also. Super friendly Marina and Charis will take care of you here! The place is beautiful and well kept, right at the square of old Hersonissos. The food, family made, is delicious and plentiful. Try the Stifado!! This tavern is worth visiting from further away too, make a reservation though, Harakas is popular!

Marina our waitress was super nice and welcoming.
The main course is very big and tasty
You should definitely try the wine leaves- 10/10!!

The portions are *massive* and the feeling is amazing. Food is fresh and tasty every time we dine here.
There is a very filling fresh warm bread welcome snack and a dessert with raki before you go (everything on the house).
Can't recommend enough. Don't forget to book your table in advance as it's usually fully booked.
