Very nice greek tavern.
Everything was delicious and handmade (even the salads were picked from their own garden).
The waiter serving us was pleasant and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste and quality of the food is so amazing,I was really impressed by it, and the prices are very reasonable.Also nice, tasteful decoration and the people there are so kind, welcoming and considerate. The place is Ideal for couples but also a group of friends or a family, but it is best if you book your table before going there because sometimes you will not find a place to sit! I totally recommend going there at least once whether you are staying in Volos or you are a tourist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely typical greek taverna with Kaiti the owner at her best. We had great honemade food. Tomatoes peppers eggplants all from her own garden. I recomend spetzofai the pilion traditional dish. The tavern is in a village near Portaria. We certainly go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not great in our view. We were there in Dec 2021 and it was very busy. The tables were too close to one another and the food was not great. Kotsi xoirino was more cooked and more dry than it should and the lamb ribs not as tasty as we have had before. Mushrooms weren’t that good as well.

Though the only option for eating in porteria it doesn't feel like a compromise.
Very very good food, people are coming to dine here from the entire surrounding area.
Service is pleasent and warm even if at times a little slow.
Seating area in cosy and heated with a wood burning fire place.
Prices are affordable and the serving size are of healthy portions.
If you're here on a Sunday make sure to make lunch time reservation ahead of time so that they know to save a table for you.
