Great island and see views from the patio. Rooms are spacious and clean. We came here during the Christmas week, what a luxury experience!

AWFUL service, took me going down the route of going to my bank to get my deposit back. The lady managing the property would hassle us on a daily basis, asking to buy excursions which were sometimes double the price when you bought direct. You cant use the BBQ there and all the fireplaces etc are taped up. Not great value for money.

Amazing villa! Valentini was truly a great host and made us feel so welcomed when we got there and through out our stay there. It’s walking distance to many restaurants and shops and the view was out of this world! We will be recommending this place to all our friends and family who want to visit santorini!

Perfect, in every way. Joanna & Memos have created an amazingly private vacation haven on the edge of the caldera, in the heart of Fira. They have transformed a wonderful old family home into a lovely three story villa for their guests. The upper terrace was heavenly -- whether for morning coffee or wine at sunset. The small pool was a relaxing afternoon and evening relief for walking weary travelers. The open kitchen and living room made another great place to congregate. And the beds were great! The steep, ladder-like stairs to the terrace were intimidating at first, but well worth getting used to --for the spectacular view and comfortable seating areas. Above and beyond the fabulous location, Joanna and Memos' warm and gracious hospitality made us fall in love with Greece. Memos met us at the airport and helped us with our bags, --a huge help if you are not used to all those Santorini steps and cobbled walkways. A fruit bowl, Joanna’s fresh jam and bread, wine and water greeted us, along with a notebook of possibilities we could enjoy while were were there for the week. Later, Joanna surprised us with delicious fresh jam she had been making. We were all ever-glad we took Memo's offer of a day long tour of the island. It went far beyond giving us our bearings. We experienced Santorini in ways we would never have on our own, from beaches and a monastery to archeological sites and an ancient village, then a perfect lunch, ending the day at a winery. BTW, using the local bus system was easy— whether up to Oia or back to Megalochori and Akrotiri. From our first email to the last moment of leaving, we felt welcomed and were made to feel at home. I can't thank them enough for making our family vacation wonderful. I feel like we found friends in Greece.

Beautiful property, located at the edge of fira literally 2 minute walk to the closest store and restaurants near by. There is a beautiful patio above with gorgeous views of the Caldera and fira. Our host is the sweetest thing and gave recommendations to restaurants for our stay along with other activities to do. The beds are comfortable and has all the amenities you need with a fill kitchen. She even left us a big fruit platter, two bottles of water and a bottle of wine. Would definitely stay again.

Villa Dakoronia is the highlight of our Santorini trip. We weren't able to check in as planned as our flight was rescheduled the next day due to bad weather. We tried requesting for the booking to be moved (from 10-12/12/2018 to 11-13/12/2018) if available, and they've granted it! From the time we've booked (we we're given Maria as our host but was then smoothly changed to Veselin) til even after we left, our host has given us a very pleasant, totally recommendable experience. The place itself is dope, super clean, has everything you need and more. The location is magnificent (just look at the photos!), close to shops, church, central bus station, cable car station and many other spots. They provide complimentary wine, juice, coffee and water bottles, even umbrellas! Veselin was very helpful and the communication was very smooth. Wifi isn't strong on the 2nd floor but who needs it anyway when the views will keep you away from social media? People said it's very pricey but you'll definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommended, would love to stay here again during summer!

This Villa is PERFECTLY positioned for outstanding views!! It is very close to shopping, restaurants and food markets. Bring your walking shoes, lots of cobblestone paths and lots of elevation on those paths. We can see the cruise ships right from the pool area. It also has a washing machine but no dryer, just hang your clothes on the veranda upstairs. A.C. works great in the bedrooms. Be prepared for a little walk from the parking area. It's also very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Lots of people walking by enjoying the views. Make sure you eat at the Vulkan it's walking distance. They have a saxophone player every night and you can hear him perfectly from the Villa.
