My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights from May 26 - May 29 while in Athens. We stayed in rooms 6 and 7 on the second floor. I totally give it 5 stars. The front door staff, Nicholas, was a highlight to our stay at 18 Micon. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms. The toilet and the walk-in shower are separated. The bed was comfortable. The room has a Nespresso machine inside. There was free breakfast every morning. The hotel is located in the heart of Psyrri. You can't find a better location. You walk a few minutes and you are in the Monastiraki Square and a little further and you are in Syntagma Square. Ermou street, where all the shopping happens, is close by as well. Hundreds of restaurants are around you. The only problem you will have is to decide on which restaurant to eat at. Again, the front desk / Nicholas was the highlight of the hotel for us. We had an early morning flight one morning, and Nicholas prepared for us a takeaway breakfast to eat at the airport. Please note that after 11 pm or 23:00 hour, the hotel is no longer staffed (it's not staffed 24 hours is what I mean). My family and I all enjoyed our stay at 18 Micon and would HIGHLY recommend it. Greek hospitality was one of the best and most memorable parts of our Greece vacation. I'm already missing Greece!

Nice clean rooms with industrial look, quite but very central neighbourhood. Big breakfast buffet with lots of different options. Friendly and welcoming staff.

We have been in many 4 and 5 star hotels in Greece. This one is as good as an 4 star hotel, or even better. We had a junior suite, which is quite big. The hotel is very good located, especially if you want to go out for some drinks in the evening. The staff is friendly and helpful. Fully recommended.

This hotel rocks. First of all the staff was super friendly and did everything to accommodate us after we had trouble with our flights. They also gave us recommendations for rooftops to visit around the area as well as tips of where to go in Crete. They also got us a taxi to head to the airport. The rooms are very modern and the breakfast was great as well. Special thanks to Natasha & Katerina for being so kind to us!

During our stay the hotel lost electricity at about 5pm and it still wasn't back by check out time the next day. I understand this was outside the control of the hotel but how they dealt with the situation was astonishing. Not once was the inconvenience addressed or any apology offered. We were left in the pitch dark - we asked three times throughout the evening for candles or a torch and we were met with eye rolls and sighs from Angelika who clearly should not be working in the hospitality industry. It seems like guests are nothing more than an inconvenience to her. At check out the next morning literally nothing was mentioned about the fact we had no lights, no hot water and no electricity for the last 18 hours. No apology whatsoever, not even an acknowledgment it was happening, nothing except a request for city tax. Baffling how they treat their paying guests. Apart from how rude Angelika was this was a HUGE safety concern - guests left to come and go in darkness. How difficult would it have been to a) show some kindness to the guests and b) find something to help guests navigate through the darkness. Staying at the this hotel comes with a very big warning!

Had a really great experience here I'm surprised this is only rated a 2 star hotel. Staff went above and beyond with a couple little treats! Enjoyed the breakfast, great coffee. Only slight complaint, would be a little noisey if your a light sleeper. But don't let that shy you away since it's a good trade off to be closer to the action. I would definitely stay here again.

Chic stay in heart of Athens, they have good spread of English breakfast buffet. If you are a light sleeper then the busy streets with Tavernas playing live music till late nights might be an issue, but the hotel is kind to provide complimentary earplugs. We had a nice stay and explored all the nearby attractions. Sandy and Kristina were very helpful.

18 Micon St was my favourite hotel during our trip to Greece. It was located right in the heart of a bustling area that allowed us to do lot's of exploring by foot. Our room was very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The most memorable part was the friendly staff. Christina helped us to check in and check out and offered so many great recommendations not just for Athens but for other areas of our trip. She even took the time to hand write us some great notes. Michalis was incredibly friendly and surprised us with a bottle of wine and two glasses in our room after we told him we'd had a long day. One thing I'd mention is that the music from the restaurants plays very loud, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. We didn't mind as the hotel provides ear plugs and we were so tired anyway but keep in mind for the light sleeper. Thank you 18 Micon!
