Amazing spot for a meal in Oia! Great service and delicious food. We stopped by for lunch and had an amazing time. Make reservations and come early for the best seats as it is a small restaurant.

Oh my goodness I cannot recommend this place ENOUGH. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, it’s reasonably priced and the view is UNREAL. The BEST part is the service is unmatched everyone here is so kind. Huge shout out to Babis!!!! He made our visit so special so we have come back twice now and will probably continue coming back until we fly out. Honestly, if you’re thinking about it- come here. You won’t regret it!!!

If you've been to Santorini before then you know the views are breathe taking with bountiful photo opportunities but 1800 Floga was a whole new level of views. Oia is a very busy and tourist filled place so it can be slightly overwhelming at first if you have just visited for the evening for dinner like we had. With tons of people's phones in the air and poses striking at every corner it was a miracle we found this place. Luckily for us a concierge was awaiting hungry guests like ourselves that were merely just looking at menus whilst passing. He spoke with a calming and soft voice, greeted us and recommended which dish was most popular and insisted we followed to see the view we had been absorbing every chance we could. We followed him down a flight of stairs and were in awe of the spectacular scene he had introduced us too. Right on the edge of the cliff, crystal clear view of the ocean and islands, it was a once in a life time sight. He had pulled my chair out for me like a true gentleman and gave us a menu then a few minutes alone before coming back to take our order. Swiftly after ordering as the sun was setting another waiter had come to light our candle next to our roses to ignite the ambience in the room. Nothing was too much for this venue, as always the people of Greece are kind but the staff here went beyond that. The food was served at perfect intervals between each dish. Fresh, hot and well presented, our eyes were full with the visual feast we had been given. The shrimp and Angel hair starter with cherry tomato marmalade and topped with an edible flower was genius. Anyone who has eaten Angel hair before will know that it makes a very big mess however once we had finished our plate and it had been taken, the waiter swiftly came back with a handy tool to clear our table from any mess and ready for the next course without us asking. The combination of flavours merged with the portion size (we shared the starter) was just what we needed to lessen our hunger but still keep us craving the mains to come. The lamb shank was cooked beautifully, with the steamed vegetables and creamed mash made for a hearty meal. My only criticism is that it had more cherry tomato marmalade on top and where I had this on my starter also it was slightly overbearing. However this was my mistake as I was adamant on what I wanted to order. My partner is a man of few words and I didn't get a chance to try his dish. However he said it tasted nice (for him this is good praise indeed). We didn't get to try the deserts due to being in a rush but I couldn't rate the service or the view highly enough. Almost every dish we had in Santorini was delicious so what sets this place apart from the rest is mostly the view and the kind staff who clearly love their job and make you feel like celebrities with how nothing is ever too much to ask. Thank you for an amazing experience! *photo of us is thanks to the waiters who again, were delighted to capture a special moment for us* E'fcharesto 1800 Floga

I absolutely love delicious eating, and when paired with friendly and exceptional service, I’m in heaven - that’s exactly what 1800 Floga is! It’s hard in Oia to know if a place is good, because you’re never sure if the food or the Caldera view drove the high rating. We gave this place a shot to see. When we first arrived, despite being in relatively bum-like clothing, we were warmly welcomed. When it came time to order we shared our initial request, but after asking what we were looking for, our two waiters helped give suggestions. While its easy to think they were costlier suggestions, they weren’t, and in the end we were VERY happy with their advice. What we ordered: Appetizers (both pictured) - Bread with paprika cheese dip - Grilled octopus with fava bean mash - Fried feta cheese (dish with blue) Commentary: The cheese dip was surprising, because it was light weight, yet carried just the right amount of pizzazz to delight you. Feta was of course amazing. Finally, even though I actually hate octopus, they made it perfectly here with the right amount of seasoning and texture that I actually enjoyed it! Main Dishes - Lobster linguine - Pork Belly (pictured) Commentary: My husband was looking for a sweeter meat dish and the pork belly was divine! Texture was even and the sweetness not at all overpowering. The lobster linguine was well seasoned and had the right amount of sauce (not drowning like in other places). The lobster was also perfectly cooked and a perfect portion size to fill (i.e. not too small). Wines: - Gavalas Santorini 2021 Dry White Wine - Estate Argyros 2010 Assyrtiko Commentary: Both were Assyrtikos (the signature wine of Santorini), and both were refreshing! Gavalas had a pink champagne color with a very easy clean taste, whereas Argyros had a color more akin to a California Chardonnay (warm yellow) and body similar to it. Both highly recommended. Service It’s been a while where I’ve had such attention paid to my needs. It was clear from my jacket that I was rather cold, and they turned on the heater for me, and much earlier in the night than was usual. In addition, after the main meal, they cleaned the crumbs off the table properly with the requisite tool. Finally, they always toed the line well between being engaging and giving you space to enjoy the meal. The older gentleman was named Babis (spelling def wrong, but pronounced bah-BEESE) and unfortunately I didn’t catch the name of the younger gentleman. We will be here for a week, and we plan at minimum to come back and chat about our wine experience with Babis since he was so friendly and really knows a lot. :) Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. It has been a surprising gem in our journey and are very happy we came!

Amazing food presentation and great cocktails. However only has 3 tables with a view and the rest feel a bit more tucked away in the corner. So don’t go unless you can get one of those otherwise sunset and the views will be very obscured.
