Το 1927 ΗΜΙΓΥΜΝΑΣΙΟ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΔΑΣ, το 1939 έγινε 8/ταξιο Γυμνάσιο Πτολεμαΐδα, το 1972 χωρίστηκε σε Αρρενων και Θηλεων, το 1976 μετονομαστηκε σε 1ο Λυκείου Πτολεμαϊδα το οποίο τελικά το 1981 έγινε 1ο Γενικό Λύκειο Πτολεμαΐδα. The history of the 1st General Lyceum of Ptolemaida begins in 1924 with the title "DITAXION SEMICONDUCTION OF LARIES". In 1927 PTOLEMAIDAS SCHOOL, in 1939 it became the 8th Ptolemaida High School, in 1972 it was divided into Male and Female, in 1976 it was renamed the 1st Lyceum of Ptolemaida which in 1981 finally became the 1st General High School of Ptolema.

The school where my daughter studied 17 years ago, the school they are attending, and now my two children. I love it and it is my honor and pleasure to offer that and in whatever way I can. It is the second home of our children and so we have to see it all parents and children!
