Sea view is incredible, food is good quality/price, outstanding hospitality of the staff: our waitress was kind and open to explain us the food options? We got grilled calamari, sea bream and sea bass and greek yogurt with honey, white wine and water. Food and experience at the 2 friends Taverna are a pleasure!

Salad was quite neutral and olive oil seemed to be mixed up with water. Still a good restaurant a little bit away from the centre of Gouves beach.

We also ordered stuffed vine which was one of the best we had. Prices are low compared to what you get. Recommended !

Pepper schnitzel great. Great place for watching sunsets, reasonable delicious dinner and service is friendly and welcoming.

However, we still came here three times during our 8 days stay in the region. The service, Apostolos (Poli), is very friendly and accommodating. My 4 year old daughter was even allowed to see the kitchen, as she was curios. I always asked for the chef's recommendation for the day and was never disappointed. The food was authentic, simple and delicious. There is also something almost mythical about the location: right on the sea. It feels like Jason and the Argonauts might at any moment bob their heads from the horizon and coast on the small stony beach. That was my perception but there is something of an experience for everyone. I recommend this place, it is worth the visit.
