★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το 2ο Δημοτικό Σχολειο Ηρακλείου στεγάζεται σε ένα ιστορικό κτίριο, που κατασκευάστηκε τη δεκαετία του 1930 με δωρεά του Μποδοσάκη Αθανασιάδη, του Εθνικού Ευεργέτη που ξεκίνησε από τα βάθη της Μικράς Ασίας, έκανε μεγάλη περιουσία στην Τουρκία πρν την Μικρασιατική καταστροφή και στη συνέχεια ήρθε στην Ελλάδα.
Ο Μποδοσάκης Αθανασιάδης, παιδί φτωχής οικογένειας, δεν είχε την τύχη να μορφωθεί και σε όλη του τη ζωή έδινε προτεραιότητα σε καθετί που αποσκοπούσε στη βελτίωση της Παιδείας στην Ελλάδα.
Στο σημείο που κτίστηκε το Μποδοσάκειο Εκπαιδευτήριο, υπήρχε παλιότερα Ενετικός ναός του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Χρυσοστόμου.
The 2nd Elementary School of Heraklion is housed in a historic building, built in the 1930s with the donation of Bodosakis Athanasiadis, the National Benefactor who started from the depths of Asia Minor, made a large fortune in Turkey before going to Greece and Asia Minor. .
Bodossakis Athanasiadis, a child of a poor family, was not fortunate enough to be educated and throughout his life gave priority to anything aimed at improving education in Greece.
At the point where the Bodosakeio School was built, there used to be a Venetian temple of St. John Chrysostom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το καλύτερο σχολείο είναι το Μποδοσακείο !!! Τα παιδιά ανυπομονούν καθημερινά να πάνε και όσο δεν πάνε θα μελαγχολήσουν ...αυτό ένα μου λέει ! Ότι γίνεται δουλεια εκεί μέσα για τους μελλοντικούς πολίτες της πόλης μας ! Μπράβο στους εκπαιδευτικους που μοχλεύουν για τα καλύτερα ! Ανυπομονούμε όλοι να ξαναδούμε το αγαπημένο μας σχολείο και από κοντά φέτος ....
The best school is the Bodosakeio !!! The children can't wait to go every day and as long as they don't go they will be sad ... that's what one tells me! That work is being done in there for the future citizens of our city! Well done to the teachers who leverage for the best! We are all looking forward to seeing our favorite school again and up close this year ....
