★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small shop. They don’t have everything, so call in advance to check if you require special gear. For me it was gas I had to buy in Thessaloniki because they didn’t have it. If that was a con, let’s start with the pros:
Monika and Gregory are not only experienced climbers and mountaineers, they are also very nice and good people!
They helped me plan my route, could give me very good information about the conditions on the mountain and also acted as my base station for regular check backs. In case anything went wrong they would have organised rescue. That was not necessary, but very comforting to know someone knows where you are.
If you want to go up the mountain, your first stop should in any case be 55peaks! If you plan to come during summer, call them in advance to get help with reserving refuges or get a guide. If you come in winter, you’d be an idiot to not check in there for latest intel on the conditions, a nice chat and letting someone know you’re up there.
It’s hard to put my thanks into words, but it was a real pleasure meeting you. I’ll come back for sure! ;) ♥️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shop has everything you need to safely climb all the way up to Myticas: equipments and information. I heartily recommend Monika's pieces of advice to everyone before starting up. You'll be warned about paths to avoid, encouraged about places to visit, and told about ways to manage your endeavour. After all, she is an expert climber who's lived that part of the world for many years.
I bought two pair of socks, which were really high quality items: they made my days way comfortable. However, I had more from what I did not pay. Many good pieces of information and three plasters, which anyway helped me walk my way toward the tops!
Of course I went back to the shop to give my feedback to Monika's suggestions. By the time I finished my talk, we were already friends.
