★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took the 5 courses tasting menu with wine pairing at 50euros. Really good value for money, I would have taken the 8 courses tasting menu if I knew the food was as good and the portion were that small. Nice view on the rooftop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in the heart of Plaka, the historical district of Athens, this restaurant resides in a nice neoclassical building, and I’ve been wanting to visit for some time now, so I went with some friends during the «Athens restaurant week» to try out their 30€ menu.
To make a long story (as) short (as it gets): right from the start the hostess was rude beyond comprehension, she made us feel unwelcome from the moment we walked into the restaurant.
And then the food: it was really a hit or miss. I can understand that when I visit a street food joint or some local taverna, but when you try to sell yourself as a gourmet restaurant, people tend to expect more. So: the entrees were decent, a bon bon shaped souvlaki remake, a raw sausage, and a sour cheese tart. Then followed a beef tartare, which I liked, and a crispy duck salad, which I found to be mediocre. After a short interval with a selection of interesting cheeses, the main courses were served. And they were a complete disaster: the slow cooked short ribs had so much fat in them I had to throw away a third of my portion, and the celery pudding was so salty I had to consider they might have actually served it instead of salt. As for the lamb chump, it must surely have been a misfire, it wasn’t properly cooked, or maybe it was cooked in a hurry because the outside was almost crispy, while the inside was almost uncooked and frankly inedible. The sweets were nothing to write home about either; we barely finished them.
I give them one star for the presentation, and another for the couple of dishes that we liked.
But all in all, I thought we were disrespected as people and as customers. To me, at this moment, this is just another gourmet wannabe; yet another overrated underperformer that won’t be able to build a regular clientele unless they start taking their jobs more seriously. It’s a shame really, I was hoping it would be something more.
Edit:
For specificity’s sake: It was a butter-, not a cheese-, variety that was served before the main course. Also, it was the béarnaise foam that was intolerably salty.
I might also add that management mentality is in dire need of improvement when dealing with dissatisfied customers. And a tip: apologies work best.
Best time to visit: Never

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a few steps away from the main strip of Plaka, but near enough to soak in the atmosphere. Wonderfully prepared food, presented in insta-worthy style. Read reviews that the food is on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for and more. We found that it was really high quality food at very reasonable prices compared to the typical touristy Greek food restaurants in the same area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a really nice evening with fantastic food. The mushroom ravioli as a starter were delicious. The short rib and the cod as main dishes were perfectly at the point. And the desert (pineapple pavlova) was very good too. In addition, nice athmosphere and friedly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great dinner in this beautiful restaurant. We chose a five course menu with wine pairing. From the very first beginning everything was delicious and very in harmony. Also the services was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed it a lot. Thank you so much for a particularly successful dinner!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Weird beer theme for a place that doesn't have an interesting beer selection and is just a restaurant as far as I could tell. Portions small but the food is very good. We wished we'd gone for the tasting menu which was not much more expensive than 3 courses. Sympathy for the girls next to us who thought they'd share a main course. Wine recommendation from the waiter was very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Greek friends and I have made a tradition of coming here each time I visit Athens! I've eaten their wonderful creations 3 times in the last four years. Once before they earned the Michelin Star and twice since.
The service is impeccable and the staff incredible helpful. The food was incredible with explosive flavors packed into small bites.
Highly recommended. Especially if you're interested in gastro style eateries!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited 7 Food Sins last weekend during our last evening in Athens. It draw our attention from its
The bib gourmand classification in Guide Michelin 2020. The menu offered selections of creative cuisine, based mainly on Greek ingredients but with several international touches. The options were available either as á la carte or 3 tasting menus. We were hungry and curious to taste more course so we opted for the 14 course menu. And it we were positively surprised not only due to the food but for another reason: the wine pairing. The sommelier offered us 10 different accompanying wine options (8 of which from the Greek vineyard) and this was the highlight of the evening! The wines were careful selections of value for money etiquettes but qualitatively very good and really matching the courses. The sommelier also engaged in discussion about the wines with us, answered our questions and gave us a lot of useful Information. I like to see Greek restaurants investing more in wine pairing and hiring the appropriate person for this job. We will definitely come back.
