I think they don't like foreign tourists!
I wanted to buy 6 slices of quality ham and I asked an old lady to cut it from a nice half-piece was exposed. Instead of this, she offered me for the same price some rests of ham full of grease, telling me is the same! When I kindly asked her to give me from the piece I want, she said NO! SHE DIDN'T WANT TO SERVE ME! She turned her back-side to me, so I had to leave! I've never seen such kind of attitude in my life! You can find better super markets on the way to the port.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude staff and poor quality. The staff have no desire to help but as also mentioned by other reviewers they are super rude to all customers (Greek and foreigners). Nobody smiles and they told off my son for touching the watermelons as if there was any other way to turn them around and see if they are fine. It is a small super market and really crowded not keeping to COVID restrictions. The only reason to go back is that they have the big water jags and the other markets in the island not. Otherwise fruits, vegetables and variety of foods is much better at Eklekton
