★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Genuinely the most hassle free car rental experience ever. And we had a small accident on the island too! Family run business where your word and handshake still has a meaning. Very competitive prices as well both when we asked while abroad and when we turned up.
Car was clean and looked after, handled all hilly Syros with no problems.
Highly recommended, would not go anywhere else. 5 stars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A Friendly lady delivered the car directly to the Port of Syros.
The car, a Citroen C3, was a really good choice for the island even with three big suitcases.
The prices were very good.
The car delivered very clean
Acropolis Rentacar is a local rental company which I can fully recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a Toyota Yaris automatic. Subbed an old Jeep Wrangler SUV automatic with 70K km for it. Very hard to park this giant car. Terrible gas mileage compared to a Yaris or any rental car (got about 10 mpg). Solo traveler so did not want a giant car. Owners were nice enough say try to live off 20 Euro of gas for 3 days. That was impossible -- I ended up putting 30 Euro of gas in and it was almost empty when I turned the car in. Unfortunately I pre-paid the rental car and couldn't get out of the deal. I am leaving 4 stars as the owners tried to work with me on the gas. I wish them the best. Just never rent an SUV in Syros at $2.50/liter petrol cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a very good experience renting a car here. We arrived with a late boat and they were waiting for us, with the car, at the dock. The car was in great condition and with a full tank of gas. Had lots of fun touring the island. They were also very helpful with recommending things to do on the island and where to grab a bite to eat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What incredibly good service! It’s so rare to have a seamless experience with hire car companies but this one was great.
This lovely family-run business has excellent communication - they always answered their emails - and they really went above and beyond for us. Our ferry was embarrassingly late and they stayed open until midnight (!) so that we could get our car. How sweet!
The little car was good quality, handled hills well, and was full of fuel. No problems whatsoever. Thank you guys, you are the best!
