★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Υπέροχο μέρος με ζεστά νερά για κολύμπι. Ο δρόμος είναι στενός αλλά αξίζει να πας. Το τοπίο σε αποζημιώνει πλήρως. Υπάρχουν 2 μονοπάτια για να φτάσεις περπατώντας. Το ένα είναι πλακόστρωτο πολύ μικρής απόστασης και το άλλο ειναι3 μονοπάτι χωμάτινο που ξεκινάει δίπλα απ το πλακόστρωτο και σε βγάζει δίπλα στο ποτάμι.
Great place with warm waters for swimming. The road is narrow but worth the go. The landscape completely compensates you. There are 2 paths to reach on foot. One is paved very short distance and the other is 3 dirt path that starts next to the paved road and takes you to the river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πανέμορφο μέρος του ποταμού Αχέροντα, κοντά στο χωριό Σερζιανά, στο νοτιότερο κομμάτι του νομού Ιωαννίνων, θρυλείται πως βρίσκονταν οι «πύλες του Άδη». Μέσα από ένα πετρόχτιστο καλντερίμι οι επισκέπτες φτάνουν ακριβώς στο σημείο που δύο βουνά σχηματίσουν ένα είδος καμάρας. Ο ήχος από τα νερά του Αχέροντα και το κελάηδημα των πουλιών συμβάλλουν στην δημιουργία μιας απόκοσμης αλλά ταυτόχρονα παραμυθένιας ατμόσφαιρας. Κατά τη μυθολογία, εκεί βρίσκονταν ο Κέρβερος, το μυθικό τέρας με τα τρία κεφάλια, την ουρά δράκου και τη φιδίσια χαίτη, που υπήρξε φύλακας στις πύλες του Άδη.
A beautiful part of the river Acheron, near the village of Serziana, in the southern part of the prefecture of Ioannina, it is rumored that the "gates of Hades" were located. Through a stone cobbled path, visitors reach the point where two mountains form a kind of arch. The sound of the waters of Acheron and the chirping of the birds contribute to the creation of an eerie but at the same time fairytale atmosphere. According to mythology, there was Cerberus, the mythical monster with three heads, the tail of a dragon and the serpentine mane, who was a guard at the gates of Hades.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Under developed and under rated. But loved it! Pristine and beautiful rock formation canyon. I believe you can walk alongside the river. Hiking shoes necessary.....fauna include vipers in the area... you don’t really want to meet Hades! ?
