Great spot. Great view. Staff is great. Menu is special! Drinks were OK. The only thing that was awful were the roaches around the place

Great spot with fantastic view over Souvala. Very friendly staff. Great cocktails and wine list. We didn’t try food, but sure we will next time. Definitely 5/5.

We had the loveliest waiter serve us, he always had a smile and asked his boss for information about Aegina for us. The food was delicious, creative Greek cuisine with slight variations. For example, we had Feta cheese fritters with watermelon and a tasty sauce. No saganaki here. My partner ordered the pork gyros plate and it came with yummy caramelized onions and tomatoes. I had a rucola salad with green apple slices, quinoa and a feta mousse. The only thing missing was a bit of pep (perhaps more feta?) from the salad, but it was still good. We also enjoyed the galatobouriko - so creamy and freshly made. The signature cocktails were the crowning glory. The Duke was gingery and The Queen was spicy topped with a sprig of thyme. The views are also spectacular, we watched the sunset over Aegina and the moon rise white quickly over the hilly landscape. We highly recommend this restaurant for those who appreciate fine dining and want to try something a bit different.

I came based on cocktails.  I never got to them because of the food. The food was overpriced, over stylised and unpleasant in terms of flavour.  Dishes such as the seaweed salad were so over flavoured with lemon and yoghurt that it tasted more like a cheesecake than a salad. The beetroot risotto had no flavour,  pitiful flavour and the texture of gruel and we left most of it as it was inedible. The lamb was pretty reasonable although the smoked aubergine was served cold by choice which wasn't a good match. The chicken main was fine but the cream sauce had a very unpleasant taste. The seafood orzo, the calamari starter were both unpleasant. The restaurant made no effort to check in on our meal meaning we decided to pay, skip cocktails and head down the hill rather than provide custom for cocktails which looked very good to be fair. Further information to be added following speaking with the owner on leaving moves this from a 1 to a 3 star review. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt that our experience was not typical

Visiting the new seasonal restaurant in Souvala at the island of Aegina was such a great positive surprise It is located at the outskirts of the little village the view of from the terrace is breathtaking, especially the moment the full moon appeared in the horizon. The design of the store balances the modern with the traditional so it gives a very relaxing feeling. The service was warm and very professional and all members of the crew knew exactly what to do in the best possible way. All the dishes that we tasted were well thought of and very nicely presented. We had the spicy saganaki with prawns, the octopus and the calamari for starters and then the sfyrida with asparagus and the chylopites with octopus. The cocktails were great and the wine list very well updated. The dessert was a modernized version of a very traditional one and for me, the execution was exceptional.
