★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice people!!! Good service!!! Nice apartments!!! If you want to go to Crete i recommend this place. The food is good, the surrounding is beautiful and the beach is nice and not to crowded. The people are very caring and nice, they will make you feel very welcome. The best vacation I've ever had!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aelia Apt´s is all about the very friendly, helpful and fun staff.
The apartments are very modern and nice facing the pool area and beautiful surroundings. Very nice terrace (we had room E2 and the terrace is facing the pool area)!
The pool area is very nice with comfortable sunbeds.
Aelia Apt´s is about a 10 min walk to smaller supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Beach (sand) very nice but huge rocks in the water so look out! We all hit our toes in those a bunch of times.
Back to Aelia Apt´s, a very nice and highly recommended place.
The negatives:
- The food could be a whole lot better (not much to chose from). My recommendation to Aelia Apt´s is to have a real cook and also to have a included breakfast with yoghurt, fruit etc and not just bacon and eggs.
- Depending on the guests it can be very noisy, if the guests are a bunch of 18-year olds the staff adjust the opening hours to them and during our 14-nights stay the bar was open to 3-4 am with loud music many nights. It wasn´t such a big deal for us, I travelled with a 8-year old and my friend a 12-year old but if you´re travelling with smaller children (or if you´re sensitive to loud noices yourself) this is something you should have in consideration.

Town is very small with only a few touristic restaurants.
Pros:
+ Not too busy. small and cozy
+ 10 min from beach
++ Wonderful manager (George and his family are great hosts)
+ nice and quite
+ good price / quality balance
Tips for owner:
- more umbrellas at swimming pool (sun can be really intense in summer)
- airco incl. in booking price. Everybody uses it anyways

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amelia apt has a wonderful family atmosphere and it's due to the fantastic staff! They really take good care of you! The pool is nice and the apartment is big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. Rent AC for 2euros/day.
It takes 10-15min to walk down (a very warm walk during the day) to the beach (2 sunbeds for 6 euros), restaurants and the supermarkets. The beach is nice (sand) but not far out in the water there is rocks that you have to climb over/watch out for. The good thing is that it is fun snorkeling due to this. On the way down to the beach you can rent quads (four wheelers). It costs 40 Euros but it it's worth it. We drove down to the beach and followed the road to the right until it starts climbing upwards. At the top take left and you will find beautiful beaches with better wind and wave protection.
Back to Aelia. First two days was great, we were almost alone in the pool, but then new people arrived and they where very loud late in the evening/nights. Add noise from the pool that never closes (children/people in the pool = a lot of noise) and It was sometimes hard to put our children to bed and get a good nights sleep. The food on Aelia is not the best, but ok. A wish is to have more plates, glasses and kitchen gear in the apartment.
To summarize it: Aelia is all about the friendly staff and the atmosphere they create.
