P	Paul Brems on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goede plaats voor treinspotters: hier komen alle reizigerstreinen voorbij van/naar het station van Thessaloniki. Helaas zie je hier ook nog wat overblijft van de rijtuigen die meer dan een jaar werden in brand gestoken. Niet leuk voor de gewone treinreiziger. Good place for train spotters: all passenger trains pass from/to Thessaloniki station here. Unfortunately, you can still see what remains of the carriages that were set on fire for more than a year. Not fun for the regular train traveler.

Έχει αυξηθεί το ύψος των προστατευτικών, όμως θεωρώ ότι και ο βασικός κορμός της κατασκευής θέλει αλλαγή. Όχι μόνο γιατί βοηθά σε πολλούς ανθρώπους να περνούν από εκεί και να παίρνουν τα μέσα συγκοινωνίας, αλλά και γιατί αποτελεί ένα ωραίο μέρος για να βλέπουν τα παιδιά τα τρένα. Θυμάμαι ο μπαμπάς μου τακτικά με πήγαινε εκεί και με πολύ προσοχή με κράταγε για να βλέπω τα τρένα που περνούσαν. Έτσι έχω γλυκές αναμνήσεις από αυτο το μέρος. Σκουριασμενη, κουνιέται (σε λογικά πλαίσια, δεν θα πέσει μην φοβάστε), γεμάτο γκράφιτι και τα δύο "τέλη" της γέφυρας γεμάτα βρωμιές. Old flyover. As an attraction it has nothing special. The Historic Center of Ampelokipi opposite is much more interesting. Δεν φαίνεται να έχουν γίνει επισκευές εδώ και δεκαετίες ενώ δεν είναι προσβάσιμη σε άτομα με αμαξίδιο, ο δε φωτισμός ανύπαρκτος. The bridge has obvious rust erosion. You walk and you feel her unstable. It does not seem to have been repaired for decades and it is not accessible to people in wheelchairs and the lighting is non-existent.
M	Makis Ioannidis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αντικειμενικά η ύπαρξη της γέφυρας εξυπηρετεί πολύ κόσμο στο να γλυτώσει μερικά χιλιόμετρα κάνοντας τον κύκλο.Τη δεκαετία του 80 η γέφυρα γνώρισε στιγμές δόξας καθώς ο νεαρόκοσμος των αμπελοκήπων (επτάλοφος) είχε το στέκι της εκεί (δίπλα στην οδό Χαλκίδη).Η κατάσταση της γέφυρας δεν είναι η καλύτερη.Έχει εμφανή σημεία οξείδωσης και η γενικότερη εικόνα της φανερώνει εγκατάλειψη.Πλήρη απουσία ευκολιών πρόσβασης για άτομα με προβλήματα στην κίνηση (ανελκυστήρες). Ο φωτισμός είναι ελλιπής και δείχνει επικίνδυνος για το λόγω ότι για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα στα βαγόνια των τρένων -που έχει από κάτω- έβρισκαν στέγη παράνομοι μετανάστες.Αξίζει να δοθεί προσοχή και να αναβαθμισθεί η γέφυρα γιατί είναι η μία από τις δύο προσβάσεις των αμπελοκήπων προς την Μοναστηρίου και για το γεγονός οτι και σήμερα εξυπηρετείτε κόσμος και ειδικά γονείς με μικρά παιδιά που πηγαίνουν στα διπλανά πάρκα.
