★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best restaurant we had food at in Crete and by far the best in Sitia-Piskokefalo! There is a variety of food for all the tastes. We dined there every night whilst we were staying in Sitia. Seafood is extremely tasty and all ingredients are fresh and local. You should definitely order raki and also try the very tasty meze which comes with it. We also had a mixed grill and the meat was delicious and very well grilled. Large portions and a great value for money. Very friendly atmosphere , nice music and great service! I don't think there is anything else to ask for. Strongly recommended!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best tavern in entire Crete! During out 4 days stay in Piskokefalo we dine there every evening. Food is delicious, service very friendly and atmosphere just amazing. I fully recommend to try their shrimp saganaki or linguine, it simple delicious!

The traditional menu on offer serves up a sizable selection of traditional and creative Creteian dishes, with a creative ensemble of adult beverages including the excellent locally brewed Raki. An excellent afternoon casting for an adventure through setia and countryside, while staying incredibly reasonable for the budget-minded at heart. A local and family owned experience not to miss!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a short drive from Sitia town , this is a hidden gem located on the village’s square. The atmosphere is very nice and the food is top quality: large portions, good value for money , very hospitable and the best grilled octopus we’ve had in a long time ! They bring you a meze with the purchase of raki that’s filling enough and they also bring you some fruit at the end ! Definitely a must visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came across this beautiful family restaurant early in our trip. It’s locatad in the village’s local square and it’s filled with locals enjoying life. We went for lunch and dinner the next day. They were so kind and welcoming and the food was wonderful! Must try the dolmadaki and the Fried calamari! Thank you Vicky and your wonderful family!
