C	Chilli Cao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've not actually stayed in Aethra but I am their next door neighbor. The girls that run it are really kind, down to earth and watch after their service and customers with their heart. The location is beautiful and surrounded with traditional architectures and alleyways. It's up a few steps from the historic town centre, under the Acronafplia castle and it's very peaceful and quiet. You don't hear any road traffic or town noise there. 2 minutes walk from the centre and 10 minutes walk to the beach on the other side. 100% Recommended.

The room we shared as a family of four wasn't huge but then you have to remember that this is Nafplion, a historic, cramped city with tiny premises packed on each other. The room was very clean, the breakfast was generous and quite reasonably priced. The views were magnificent. The only downside and warning for anyone traveling with people with disabilities (or just being lazy during their holidays) is the fact that the nearest parking space is about 10 minutes walk (free, at the city's port). Also, we had to climb 107 steps from the public square to our room's entrance (but that was because our room was at the top floor). The owners helped us with my son's bicycle. They provided space to keep it safe and even supplied us with wrapping material to package it.

Simply magnificent in terms of room and hotel cleanliness, staff politeness and high quality service, room view to the city of Nafplio and nicely made garden in a historical area next to the old city center! The hotel opened its doors and started operating and accepting customers in 2019 so everything is on very high standards! The room we selected could be a tad more spacious but i could forget that "flaw" taking into account all the other pros of the hotel and the fact that there are larger rooms as well to pick from! Would definitely recommend it and will visit again for sure!

Wonderful courtyard to enjoy breakfast with traditional jams, your coffee or the sunset. The big advantage, however, is the staff that serves your requirements with a smile and patience. The only thing you can say as a negative is the many steps until you reach especially if you are carrying suitcases.
