★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented a car when our ship stopped here one day, and we drove all afternoon. At the end of our adventure we spotted this small church, did a u-turn, and went back to see it. We met two wonderful ladies there who were cleaning for the next day was the name day of the church, Saint Kalliopi. We visited with them about an hour before we had to be back to the ship. The younger one, (the daughter) presented us with a large bag of figs which she picked for us while we visited with her mother. We enjoyed them on the remainder of the cruise. Beautiful people, beautiful island, beautiful church.
