New church and very nice!

The history of the church begins with the approval of the founding of the parish made by the decision number 1/29 of January 1987 of the Metropolitan Council of Fthiotida with the then Metropolitan of Fthiotida Damaskinos as chairman. In the year 1996, the imposing wood-carved iconostasis of the church was made, which under the despotic icons has carved representations of life, martyrdom and the end of Holy Sunday. The hagiography of the church begins in the year 1997 and the hagiographer of the holy church is appointed Mr. Nikolaos Rizos. In the right and left aisle of the church stands the illustration of the Akathistos Hymn, while above the main entrance of the church dominates the figure of Agia Kyriaki that covers the city of Domokos. Remarkable are the personifications of Domokos and Thessaly, right and left above the entrance. In the jubilee year 2000 and on the day of the festival were performed majestically by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Fthiotida Mr. Nicholas the inauguration of the temple.
