Ιερομάρτυρας της χριστιανικής εκκλησίας από την Περσία. Η μνήμη του τιμάται στις 3 Νοεμβρίου. Την ημέρα αυτή γιορτάζουν όσοι φέρουν το όνομα Ακεψιμάς.
Ο Ακεψιμάς ήταν επίσκοπος στην Περσία και φυλακίστηκε για την πίστη του μαζί με τον πρεσβύτερο Ιωσήφ και τον διάκονο Αειθαλά. Το 378, οι τρεις τους οδηγήθηκαν στη Μηδία, όπου μαρτύρησαν, κατά τους διωγμούς του Πέρση βασιλιά Σαπώρ Β’ (311-380).
 Saint Akepsimas
Hieromartyr of the Christian church from Persia. His memory is commemorated on November 3. This day is celebrated by those named Akepsimas.
Akepsimas was a bishop in Persia and was imprisoned for his faith along with the elder Joseph and the deacon Eethalas. In 378, the three of them were taken to Media, where they were martyred during the persecutions of the Persian king Sapphor II (311-380).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Τρίκλιτη καμαροσκεπής βασιλική του 6ου πιθανότατα αιώνα. Δύο τοξοστοιχίες στις πλευρές του μεσαίου κλίτους στηρίζονται σε πεσσούς. Το Δ μέρος του ναού έχει καταρρεύσει από παλιά και έχει εν μέρει ανακτισθεί. Σε μια από τις φάσεις αυτές απομονώθηκε και έκτοτε λειτουργείται μόνο το μεσαίο κλίτος. Οι καμάρες, τα τόξα και το τεταρτοσφαίριο αποτελούνται από λαξευτούς πωρόλιθους καλά αρμοσμένους. Από τον αρχικό ζωγραφικό διάκοσμο σώζεται μόνο μια επιφάνεια στο Ν κλίτος καθώς και λείψανα επιγραφής.
Three-aisled vaulted basilica, probably from the 6th century. Two arches on the sides of the middle aisle rest on pillars. Part D of the temple has long since collapsed and has been partially restored. In one of these phases only the middle aisle was isolated and has been operating ever since. The arches, the arches and the quarter are made of well-fitted carved porphyry stones. From the original painted decoration only a surface in the N aisle survives as well as relics of an inscription.
