Μονόκλιτη βασιλική με τρούλο. Η εξωτερική διακόσμηση του ναού ήταν λιτότατη, με εμφανή ακόμη και σήμερα τις οδοντωτές ταινίες που περιβάλλουν τα πλίνθινα πλαίσια επί της κόγχης του ιερού, των τυμπάνων των κεραιών του σταυρού, τα μονόβολα παράθυρα και τα σωζομενα πήλινα ηχητικά αγγεία. Απουσιάζουν οι δύο ολόσωμες τοιχογραφίες οι οποίες φυλάσσονται από την αρχαιολογία και βρίσκονταν οι μεν μία στην βόρεια πλευρά απεικονίζοντας τον ιερομάρτυρα Άγιο Θεράπων και τον πρωτομάρτυρα Άγιο Στέφανο, η δε άλλη στην νότια κόγχη τον Άγιο Ρωμανό και τον Άγιο Ουαλεριανό.

Single-aisled basilica with dome. The exterior decoration of the church was very simple, with the toothed strips surrounding the brick frames on the niche of the sanctuary, the drums of the cross antennas, the single-barred windows and the surviving clay sound vessels still visible today. Absent are the two full-length frescoes which are preserved by archeology and were located one on the north side depicting the hieromartyr Agios Therapon and the first martyr Agios Stefanos, and the other in the south niche Agios Romanos and Agios Valerianos.
A Byzantine monument that I unreservedly suggest you visit.
