★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο ναός του Αγίου Δημητρίου υπήρχε από τον καιρό των Ενετών, όταν ήταν ο προστάτης της συντεχνίας των μαραγκών. Από την παλιά εκκλησία διατηρείται μονάχα ένα τμήμα της τοιχογραφίας στο ιερό του σημερινού ναού. Κατά την οθωμανική κυριαρχία έγινε σπίτι Οθωμανού και καταστράφηκε τελείως από τους βομβαρδισμούς στο 2ο Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο (Μάχη της Κρήτης). Στα ερείπια κτίστηκε ο σημερινός ναός που εγκαινιάστηκε το 1965.
The church of St. Demetrios existed from the time of the Venetians, when he was the patron of the carpenter guild. Only part of the frescoes in the sanctuary of the present church are preserved from the old church. During the Ottoman domination it became an Ottoman home and was completely destroyed by the bombings in World War II (Battle of Crete). The ruins of the present church were inaugurated in 1965.
