★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η εκκλησία του Ευαγγελιστή Ιωάννη είναι από τις λίγες τοιχογραφημένες της Μάρπησσας. Δέος καταλαμβάνει τον προσκυνητή όταν μπαίνει μέσα στον ιερό ναό! Βέβαια, και εξωτερικά το μικρό, πάλευκο εκκλησάκι μοιάζει με ζωγραφιά. Ο Άγιος Ιωάννης ο Θεολόγος που κήρυξε και στην περιοχή αυτή να πρεσβεύει για όλου μας!
 The church of John the Evangelist is one of the few frescoes in Marpissa. Awe catches the pilgrim when he enters the sacred temple! Of course, on the outside, the small, white church looks like a painting. Saint John the Theologian who proclaimed this area to be an ambassador for us all!
