A	Apo Chris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πάρα πολύ όμορφο μέρος! Μία μικρή όαση στο κέντρο της πόλης. Γύρω από την εκκλησία υπάρχει παρκάκι και μέσα από αυτό περνάει ο Ιλισός ποταμός! Το μόνο ανοιχτό σημείο του που μπορεί κανείς να τον δει στο κέντρο της Αθήνας. Επίσης υπάρχει μικρό σπήλαιο που κατά την αρχαιότητα ήταν ιερό του Πανός, του οποίου υπάρχει βραχογραφία πάνω από την είσοδο του σπηλαίου. Ο πολύ όμορφος ναός της Αγίας Φωτεινής, είναι κτισμένος τον 19ο αιώνα, πάνω σε παλαιότερο ναό, παλαιοχριστιανικό ή βυζαντινό. Μέσα στο ναό υπάρχει ο λίθος του Ιακώβ. Η πρόσβαση είναι πολύ εύκολη. Very beautiful place! A small oasis in the city center. There is a small park around the church and the Ilissos river passes through it! The only open point that one can see in the center of Athens. There is also a small cave that in antiquity was a sanctuary of Panos, whose rock painting is above the entrance of the cave. The very beautiful church of Agia Fotini, is built in the 19th century, on an older church, early Christian or Byzantine. Inside the temple is the stone of Jacob. Access is very easy.

It's one of the hardest churches to access, and it's hardly noticeable, despite being at the very centre of Athens. It belongs to the same complex of Zappeio/Temple of Olympian Zeus.
