★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μαρμάρινη πλάκα έξωθεν του ναού μας ενημερώνει ότι :
- Ο Ιερός Ναός Αγίας Φωτεινής θεμελιώθηκε τον Μάϊο του 1990 από το Δ.Σ. του εξωραϊστικού συλλόγου "Φέρρυ" υπό την προεδρία του Αντ. Δ. Αποστολίδη. -
Πρόκειται για ένα μικρό Ιερό Ναό στην κορυφή του λόφου.
Από τον κεντρικό παραλιακό δρόμο ,εύκολα μπορεί κανείς να χάσει το στενό που οδηγεί εδώ, γι'αυτό προσοχή στις πινακίδες.
Το εξωτερικό στέγαστρο του ναού σχεδόν αντιστοιχεί στο μέγεθος του. Εκτός από τις αγιογραφίες, επάνω από την είσοδο του ναού υπάρχει ένα μοναδικής καλλιτεχνικής ομορφιάς ψηφιδωτό της Αγίας Φωτεινής.
Περιμετρικά υπάρχουν έγχρωμα τζάμια που φωτίζουν μοναδικά το έσω του όταν ο ήλιος κινείται προς τη δύση.
Στον εξωτερικό χώρο υπάρχει και ένα καμπαναριό, όπου το καλοκαίρι στις 19-20/8 εορτή της Αγίας, ζωντανεύει μαζί με τα αναρριχώμενα φυτά που είναι προσκολλημένα επάνω του.
Αγία του Θεού πρέσβευε υπέρ ημών!
A marble slab outside the temple informs us that:
- The Holy Church of Agia Fotini was founded in May 1990 by the Board. of the landscaping club "Ferry" under the chairmanship of Ant. D. Apostolidis. -
It is a small Holy Temple at the top of the hill.
From the main coastal road, one can easily miss the strait that leads here, so pay attention to the signs.
The outer roof of the temple almost corresponds to its size. Apart from the hagiographies, above the entrance of the church there is a mosaic of unique artistic beauty of Agia Fotini.
Perimeter there are colored windows that uniquely illuminate the inside when the sun moves to the west.
Outside there is a bell tower, where in the summer on the 19-20 / 8 feast of the Saint, it comes to life along with the climbing plants that are attached to it.
Holy God interceded for us!
