Η ανδρική Ιερά Κοινοβιακή Μονή της Αγίας Παρασκευής στα Μέγαρα βρίσκεται στην βορειοανατολική πευκόφυτη πλαγιά των Γερανείων Όρεων, πάνω στην επαρχιακή οδό Μεγάρων – Μαζίου – Αλεποχωρίου και απέχει 17 χιλ. από τα Μέγαρα και 6 χιλ. από την παραλία Αλεποχωρίου. Η μονή ιδρύθηκε το 1988 στον χώρο, όπου σύμφωνα με την παράδοση, υπήρχε αρχαία χριστιανική κοινότητα.

The monastery was founded in 1988 in a place where, according to tradition, there was an ancient Christian community.
