Γ	Γιωργος Γκοντος on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ήταν η πολλοστή φορά πού επισκεφθήκαμε την εκκλησία της ΠΑΝΑΓΙΑΣ στα Φιλιατρά. Γιά τους μη γνωρίζοντες, πρέπει να πω ότι ο Ναός είναι αφιερωμένος στην ΠΑΝΑΓΙΑ. Καί εκεί βρίσκεται πολλά χρόνια η Θαυματουργή Εικόνα του ΑΓΙΟΥ ΧΑΡΑΛΑΜΠΟΥΣ η ΧΑΡΑΛΑΜΗ Ο Οποίος με το θαύμα πού έκανε στον πόλεμο με τους γερμανούς, όπου διαφύλαξε τα Φιλιατρά από την καταστροφή πού θα έκανε ο γερμανός Διοικητής, έκανε την πόλη διάσημη κι έτσι αναφέρεται από τότε ως η εκκλησία του ΑΓΙΟΥ ΧΑΡΑΛΑΜΠΟΥΣ. Θα μπορούσε (κι έπρεπε) να είναι σε ΠΟΛΥ καλύτερη μοίρα καί κατάσταση, καί ο Ναός καί ο χώρος γύρω από αυτόν. Δυστυχώς έχει απαξιωθεί από τους κατοίκους καί από τις αρχές, πού έχοντας ένα μνημείο θρησκευτικού προορισμού στην πόλη, το έχουν αφήσει στην μοίρα του, καί στην αίγλη πού εκπέμπει Μόνο του λόγω της μορφής καί ιστορίας του ΑΓΙΟΥ. Σε ένα μήνα από τώρα (10 Φεβρουαρίου) τιμάται η μνήμη του. Όποιος έχει την δυνατότητα καλό είναι να πάει καί να πάρει την ευλογία του. Σκεφθείτε ότι ο τότε γερμανός Διοικητής, πήγαινε ΚΑΘΕ χρόνο έως ότου έφυγε από την ζωή, καί προσκυνούσε την εικόνα ΜΑΖΙ με την οικογένειά του. Αυτό κάτι λέει καί διδάσκει.
