★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Σύγχρονος ναός κοντά στον βόρειο οδικό άξονα της Κρήτης, αρκετά έξω από το κέντρο της πόλης του Ηρακλείου. Είναι αρκετά μεγάλος ναός και διαθέτει μεγάλο χώρο στο υπόγειο για μνημόσυνα και άλλες εκδηλώσεις. Μειονέκτημα το γεγονός ότι δεν έχει επαρκή χώρο στάθμευσης και το μικρό προαύλιο.
 Modern temple near the northern road axis of Crete, quite outside the city center of Heraklion. It is quite a large church and has a large space in the basement for memorial services and other events. Disadvantage is that it does not have enough parking and the small courtyard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο ιερός ναός αυτός βρίσκεται στα νοτιοδυτικά προάστια της πόλεως του Ηρακλείου, πάνω στην επαρχιακή οδό προς Προφήτη Ηλία και Φοινικιά και σε απόσταση εκατό μέτρα περίπου από την γέφυρα της εθνικής οδού. Την προσωνυμία «χωστός» την πήρε από την παλιά υπόγεια εκκλησία,που βρίσκεται 7 μέτρα κάτω από την επιφάνεια της γης, χτισμένη προφανώς επί Ενετών σαν δεξαμενή νερού «σαρνίτσι» για την ύδρευση. Αργότερα, επί Τουρκοκρατίας, οι Χριστιανοί κυνηγημένοι την μετέτρεψαν σε ναό και τελούσαν κρυφά τις λειτουργίες, και σύμφωνα με την παράδοση χρησιμοποιήθηκε και σαν κρυφό σχολειό.
This sacred temple is located in the southwest suburbs of Heraklion, on the provincial road to Profitis Elias and Finikia, approximately one hundred meters from the highway bridge. It got its nickname "chastos" from the old underground church, which is 7 meters below the surface of the earth, apparently built on the Venetians as a sarin water tank for water supply. Later, during the Turkish occupation, the chased Christians converted it into a temple and performed secret functions, and according to tradition it was also used as a secret school.
